Hi guys! Its Pooja from Festival Addicts! Events are starting to come back, and we at Festival Addicts are super excited to attend Road Rave in Arizona Memorial Day Weekend!
Carnage, Relentless Beats, and Medium Rare have partnered to announce North America’s first-ever drive-in festival of the COVID era: THE ROAD RAVE. The ROAD RAVEis set to make history on May 30th from 7 - 11p in Phoenix, Arizona at Wildhorse Motor Park, featuring trap heavy-weight DJ Carnage; Hulk Gang (4B & Valentino Khan); SayMyName; Dr Fresch b2b BIJOU, and Paz. With no plans for traditional festivals in the foreseeable future, Carnage’s new groundbreaking concept blends the traditional drive-in movie with Carnage’s festival series, RARE. This is event is all ages (which for a Carnage show, is RARE, haha)
Don't be fooled, this event is more than a conventional drive-in movie show. Medium RARE plans to bring a full festival main stage production to life while viewers can safely party and enjoy from their parked vehicles (at a social distance!) Capacity is limited to 500 cars, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 people per vehicle. Rideshare vehicles and busses are currently not permitted at this time: movement will be heavily restricted to ensure the event follows as many recommended social distancing guidelines. Concessions will also be available to order online with direct delivery to each vehicle. We can only guess they managed to pick up Postmates, Uber Eats or Doordash as a sponsor.
Masks are heavily encouraged to be worn at all times during the event. Social distancing will be enforced with strict guidelines and restrictions on when attendees can safely leave their vehicles for necessary amenities. In addition to providing a unique drive-in concert event for ravers, Carnage is also planning donating a portion of the proceeds from the event and his forthcoming documentary to the ANF COVID-19 Relief Fund that provides assistance to vulnerable communities in Nicaragua during the coronavirus outbreak. As a proud Latino himself, Carnage is proud to use the opportunity and platform to aid underrepresented communities.
Born as Diamanté Anthony Blackmon, Carnage is the American Dream. Diamanté grew up in Nicaragua and came to America at ten years old, speaking very little English. From pioneering the Trap genre, massive collaborations, and festival appearances in the dance world, to gold records with Lil Pump, Migos, Steve Aoki, and Mac Miller, Carnage has become an undisputable legend in the Trap and Rap music scene.
