Thank you for choosing Freedom Rave Wear! We know you're excited to get your new outfit—whether it's for your next festival or just because you deserve something amazing. Here's everything you need to know about how we get your handcrafted gear from our San Diego studio to your door.


1 Made-to-Order vs. In-Stock Items

Most of our pieces are handcrafted to order in our solar-powered microfactory, which means they're made specifically for you. Here's how it works:

  • Made-to-order items take 7–10 business days for us to craft before they ship. You'll see this noted on the product page and at checkout.
  • In-stock items ship within 24 hours (more on that below).

We know waiting can be tough, but here's why it's worth it: every piece gets our meticulous attention, quality control, and comes with a lifetime warranty. We're building you something that lasts festival after festival, wash after wash. Good things take a little time.


2 Fulfillment Schedule

  • In-stock items ship within 24 hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM PT).
  • Orders placed after 3 PM PT Saturday or on Sunday ship the next business day (USPS doesn't pick up after 3 PM Saturday or on Sunday).
  • Pre-order or back-order items will display estimated ship dates at checkout and in your confirmation email.

3 Carriers & Service Levels

We offer three shipping tiers—Standard, Expedited, and Express—through the major carriers listed below. Real-time, carrier-calculated rates are shown at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination, and service selected.

*Transit times are estimates provided by the carriers and may vary during peak periods or due to customs processing.

For eligible destinations outside the United States we leverage Shopify Markets Pro, which offers door-to-door delivery using its global carrier network (typically DHL Express) and local last-mile partners. The exact carrier and service level are displayed at checkout.


4 Order Tracking

A shipment-confirmation email with a tracking number is sent the moment your label is created. Track any time via:

  1. "Track My Order" link in your email, or
  2. Track My Order tab in the site footer (auto-populates your order number).

Occasionally carriers fail to scan a package at pickup or delivery. If tracking shows no movement for 72 hours, email support@freedomravewear.com with your order number and we'll investigate.


5 Shipping Rates & Taxes

Shipping cost is calculated in real time based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. All charges appear on the final checkout page before payment.

Duties, Taxes & Shopify Markets Pro

  • Shopify Markets Pro destinations: Duties, VAT, and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout—your parcel ships Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so you will not be billed additional fees on delivery.
  • All other destinations: Duties and taxes are assessed by local customs upon arrival and remain the customer's responsibility.

6 Back-Orders & Split Shipments

If part of your order is on back-order, we'll ship the in-stock items right away and automatically send the back-ordered items once available at no additional shipping cost. You will receive separate tracking numbers for each parcel.


7 Insurance & Liability

Risk of loss transfers to you once we hand the package to the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL).

  • Standard-tier services (e.g., USPS Ground Advantage, UPS Ground, FedEx Ground) typically include no insurance or up to $100 of carrier liability, depending on the service.
  • Expedited and Express tiers generally include up to $100–$200 of carrier liability coverage.
  • To insure the full value of your order, contact support@freedomravewear.com before your order ships and we'll add supplemental insurance at published carrier rates.

If your insured package is lost, please reach out within 15 days of the last scan so we can file a claim on your behalf.


8 Delivery Estimates & Delays

Express-tier services (USPS Priority Mail Express, UPS Next Day Air, FedEx Overnight, DHL Express Worldwide) come with a money-back delivery guarantee from the carrier. All other services provide estimated transit times only and may be delayed by peak volumes, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

We cannot refund shipping charges for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or events outside our control.


9 Address Issues & Returned Packages

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Packages returned to FRW due to incorrect or incomplete addresses will incur a re-shipping fee equal to the original rate. Unclaimed international parcels returned by customs will be issued a merchandise refund less original shipping cost.
