Freedom Rave Wear has been handcrafting rave outfits in a solar-powered microfactory in Vista, California since 2014. Ten people. Nine sewing stations. One purpose-built microfactory where our core line is cut and sewn by hand. Founders Michael and Alyssa Hodgen started this as a small, fiercely intentional rebellion against dropship rave wear, and 160,000 customers later we are still building our core line here, by hand. Most rave outfits online are printed on generic polyester-spandex, cut in an overseas factory, and shipped in by container. Ours are different by default. Our core bodysuits and sets run on a recycled PET polyester-spandex blend, roughly 85% PET reclaimed from plastic bottles and the balance spandex for four-way stretch. Every roll arrives at our Vista microfactory and gets cut on our TUKAtech laser before a single stitch is sewn. Fabric content is printed on every product page. No guessing.
Are UV-reactive festival pieces real or a gimmick?
Real, when the fabric is spec'd for it. UV reactivity comes from specific pigment classes that absorb ultraviolet light and re-emit it visibly, so any rave outfit labeled UV-reactive should glow under a blacklight around 365 to 400 nm. Cheap UV prints fade after a few washes. Our UV-reactive pieces are sublimation-printed on our in-house Mimaki TS330 using eight inks including fluorescents, and they hold their glow through multiple festival seasons. If the price looks too good on a random site, the UV claim is probably paint, not pigment, and it will not light up on a real rave floor.

Two in-house designers draft the patterns. Our TUKAtech laser cuts every panel. Nine sewing stations run the stitches across four stitch types. What is covered under the lifetime warranty?
Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects for as long as you own the piece. Blown seams, stitching failures, broken elastic, print defects, snap or closure failures, any flaw that came from how we made it. Send us the piece, we repair or replace, you keep raving. Are FRW rave outfits true to size?
Our sizing is specific, not generic. We pattern in house, so a medium at Freedom Rave Wear is not graded from a fast-fashion template. It is drafted for our recycled PET fabric and the intended silhouette. Every product page has exact measurements, fit notes, and customer reviews from your size tier. Can I return a rave outfit?
Yes. Within 45 days of delivery, for exchange or store credit on unworn, unwashed pieces with original tags attached. Free return labels for US and Canada customers. International customers pay return shipping. Pieces made to order, custom commissions, and final-sale items are not returnable.
