Last year, Jeff Abel (Excision) announced that he was organizing Lost Lands, a new festival in Ohio which was a smashing success and a heaven for many bassheads. Since the success of Lost Lands, he announced another festival organized by him, this time held at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington state. The first Bass Canyon will happen in two weeks, who’s ready? Here’s what to expect at Bass Canyon , if you don’t have your outfits yet I’ll be writing about some outfit suggestions as well!
Location/ Dates
Bass Canyon will be held at the Gorge Amphitheater, which is around a three-hour drive from Seattle, WA! For those who are familiar with Paradiso, it is at the same venue, but Bass Canyon will be set up a differently since this festival will have one big stage instead of three.
Bass Canyon will be happening on August 24th- 26th, so it’s coming up really soon! Camping opens up on August 23rd, so plan to get to the Gorge a little early.
Lineup
Since this is organized by Excision, the lineup is filled with all kinds of bassy goodness! Excision himself will be playing three sets during the weekend, one including a B2B with NGHTMRE which I’m really looking forward to! He posted up a daily schedule on his Instagram, but if you want to find a more detailed schedule it’s been posted on the app. I’m personally really looking forward to BTSM, Rusko, Bear Grillz and of course Excision the most. Seeing his Paradox setup with the views from the Gorge is going to be phenomenal!

Outfit Inspo
Dark colored outfits
I tend to gravitate towards darker colored outfits such as black for bass shows! If you’re still looking for an outfit idea, either outfits from the Serpentine Collection or the Dark and Dangerous Collection would be perfect for this occasion!
Harnesses
Harnesses are perfect for summer festivals! You can either pair them with pasties or if you want more coverage, you can wear them over your top and bottoms to spice up your outfit. The Dark and Dangerous Collection has several types of harnesses available, so make sure to check them out.
Face masks/Bandanas
I tend to get a little self-conscious of my bass face at bass shows, so I usually bring a face mask so I can rage my heart out. Plus, the Gorge could be a little dusty and smoky right now because of wildfires in the area, so it’s never a bad idea to be cautious and protect yourself from the dust and smoke.
