Olé! Groove Cruise L.A. is adjusting its sails and heading further south this fall...all the way to Cabo San Lucas! Spend five days with your GCFAM during what dares to be the longest and most insane festival to hit the high seas. Whether you’re a GC veteran or virgin, mark your calendars for October 28 through November 2, 2016, and get ready for the wildest time of your life.
So, what’s changing?
The name: Groove Cruise L.A. is now Groove Cruise Cabo. Holla!
The Homebase: Say hello to sunny San Diego. San Diegans are saying goodbye to their 2-hour commute. Travelers will like it because it’s a shorter ride from the airport/downtown hotels to the boat. And L.A. people will get over it because of everything else below.
The length: A weekend getaway just wasn’t enough for the GCFAM. Groove Cruise Cabo will be five days. Yes, that’s 120 hours of non-stop music and partying.
The destination: A moment of silence for not returning to Catalina Island...ok, now that that’s over, let’s get to the “hell ya!” exclamations for Cabo San Lucas. Groove Cruise Cabo will venture further south this year and stop for an overnight stay in Cabo San Lucas, giving GCers a chance to explore the city more than we’ve been allowed to in port before.
The boat: Carnival is out, and Norwegian is in. On board the Norwegian Sun, you’ll find tricked out stages (most important), 12 bars (really important), 16 dining options (also important) as well as a bunch of other amenities you’ll be happy are available to get you through the world’s longest electronic dance music cruise.
For $200, pre-book now lock in your spot and get priority dibs on cabins before general tickets go on sale. Plus, it’s completely refundable if you’re on the fence. Though, how could you be?Written by: Desiree Roughton Writer andRhythm Chaser
