We are all here because we have a major place in our hearts for EDM, music festivals, and rave culture. One thing we all can probably agree stops a lot of us from attending every show is likely due to work conflicting or just not having enough cash to do so. After adding up the costs fortransportation to and front the venue, everyone’s unique and creative outfits, hotel/camping costs, food, and ticket costs sometimes it can be hard to be able to afford your dream festival due to other financial obligations.
One thing that can be a major help to supplement extra cash flow for this upcoming festival season is side hustles. While there aremany you can choose from, I’m going to give you my personalfavorites. The first one for anyone with a clean driving record in their hometown, a license would Uber/Lyft. I have driven for Lyft and would recommend for extra cash. You can pick and choose when you want to drive, and the best part is you can choose to immediately cash out your earnings and upload them to your bank.
Imagine a festival is coming up that you’ve alreadyplanned to attend, and suddenly something occurs where youneed extra cash that way you don’t have to pull out of themoney you budgeted for the show. Perfect chance to sign into the Uber/Lyft app take a few rides that day to supplement the cash. You can easily make $100 in a day driving for Uber/Lyft. Insane right?! The next type I would recommend would be services like Ubereats, Amazon Prime, Postmates and Grubhub. Ones likeare even better because then you’re just delivering things topeople and no longer have to worry about people being in the car with you. A major perk of food delivering is being able to keep the food when customers cancel the orders after you’ve pickedthem up haha. The best part is you can do Postmates with abike as well.
For the people without a car or that maybe don’thave a bike, don’t worry I have another amazing suggestion that I’m sure we all would love. Whether you’re a dog or a catperson, I'm sure we all love at least one. You can sign up to work for companies like Wag online, which allow you to get paid to pet sit at your home, at the pet owners' home, and even to be just a dog walker. Honestly a dream job.
Lastly for anyone with babysitting, or tutoring you are also able to make an online profile on care.com. This is a babysittingmatching service, that also provides services for senior care, and tutors. I’ve been on the site before and know a lot of my friends who have scored nanny gigs on there so I’d recommend it.
There are also options like scooter charging if you live in a major city and have the electric scooters lying around. around. Normally those companies will allow you to sign up on the apps to make some extra cash for charging them overnight. So while some options maynot be ideal for everyone, there’s a variety of options for all of us and I hope to be able to help us all make some extra money to go to that show or festivals you put on your bucket list to attend this year.
